Aug 26, 2014 · The Winchester headstamp includes an "NT" marking, which I believe indicates nontoxic (lead-free) primers. Some Federal factory loads also use a similar coding. CCI/Blazer, Speer, and other Federal brass loaded with Small Pistol primer pockets simply have the ubiquitous ".45 ACP" or ".45 Auto" headstamp.

I am just getting started at this and here's what I am shooting and reloading with. 1- 45 ACP 2- Shooting it in a 1928 Thompson submachine gun and a Colt C.C.O. pistol and a W.W. My powder puff .45 ACP load that cycles my 1911's and my ZC 97 will not budge the slide on a Taurus PT-145. Turns it into a single shot. My lead loads have 4.7 gr of W231 under 230gr LRN. If you really want a low recoil and clean load try out WST. Oh my word!
