Install Blender Exporter for Trainz . Download the exporter. Start Blender. Open a new project(File -> New). Open User Preferences(File -> User Preferences...).

The Molecular Script is an addon for Blender 2.8 that makes particles collide. In addition it makes links between the particles. The script by Damir Prebeg keeps things relatively simple and fast, the script imports both the mesh from the .obj file and the armature from the .cr2 file. It doesn't import any materials (Blender has 16 material limitation) and it doesn't attempt to set the vertex weights.
